Flying on a lovely light blue opal background. The blue morpho is approximately 16mm
about my work: I use an oxygen propane torch to create images in glass. Using an ancient art form called cane making. Also known as Murrine, murrina, murinni, millefiori. Each picture can take months to create. It is then sliced, polished and layered with other glass to create a heirloom quality treasure.
